Tisdale Community Library requires an Assistant Librarian effective October 27, 2008

Duties:

Some of the Duties required:

Accurate shelving of library materials

Carry out interlibrary loan procedures

Perform book repairs

Assist with library programs

Responsible for some evenings and Saturdays

Knowledge, Ability and Skills :

Completion of Grade 12 or GED

Have a keen interest in books

Some skill in typing and computer knowledge

Ability to understand and follow written and oral instruction

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships

Ability to work with the general public

Hours:74 hours per month
